- Seven players from the U11 Mustangs were named Honorable Mention Girls' All
Academic All Players (Annie Gauf, Jessica Calvert, Samantha Smith, Nadia Podo,
Lauren Seidner, Aimee Knecht, and Shelby Keeler). Haley Diamond won the
U11 Hotshot championship, and the Mustangs won the team shooting award.

- The U13 team won Silver Medals at the AAU Super Regional qualifiers.

Medal at the YBOA Virginia State Championship and have secured a spot at YBOA
Nationals. Congratulations on another great performance!

Medal at the Potomac Valley AAU Basketball Regional Competition. Way to go girls!

- The U14 team provided a wonderful Mother's Day gift when they won the Bronze
Medal at the Potomac Valley AAU Basketball Regional Competition. Their win provides
them with a seeded position at this year's AAU National Competition.

Tournament in Richmond.

- The WFBC U14N captured the silver medal at the Maryland Flames March Madness
tournament. Congratulations on a great job!

►March 19, 2005
- WFBC Teams took the floor for the first time. The U12 Regional team
became the first team in the history of the club to wear Western Fairfax
Basketball Club colors (they posted an unofficial 18-4 victory).

►March 6, 2005 -
Three days of
TRYOUTS brought nearly than 300 girls from all over the county to
Herndon HS and South Lakes HS. A big thanks goes out to all of our
volunteers!
►February 20, 2005
- The WFBC
BASKETBALL CLINIC was an enormous success. Nearly 150 girls
attended. Special thanks goes out to all the coaches for their time and to
all the parents for bringing their kids out to the clinic. WFBC would also like to thank
Cassel's for providing free Mustang T-Shirts to all participants.
